Renaissance the Abstract speculative office development in Croydon is now firmly under construction with steelwork at an advanced stage.

Vanessa Clark attended the local authorities’ housing conference with planners, local investors and developers, and spoke at the event in a joint presentation with Mott MacDonald and A Studio on the quantity buildings being sold for residential conversion under the PDR initiative, so far 1.2 m sq ft in 19 buildings and the range of opportunities.

Sinclair Clark, Mott MacDonald and A Studio have joined forces to work together to provide advice to funds/developers/owner occupiers on the conversion or redevelopment of office buildings to residential and other uses.

Newly refurbished office on the 5th floor of Carolyn House have been converted into managed offices with kitchen facilities, meeting rooms, furniture and on flexible terms.

Sister company SCA has recruited Lindon Brander as a director. Lindon joins in January 2014 and will bring new project management skills to the growing management / asset management specialisms of the firm.

Acting on behalf of Whitelabel Consultants, Sinclair Clark have acquired suites A and B on the 6th Floor of Carolyn House Croydon on confidential terms.

Two gatherings were held at the newly completed Renaissance to preview the finishes. Agents attended from Central London and locally for lunch, along with locals including the Mayor and representatives from Croydon Council.

Acting on behalf of the Abstract Group, Sinclair Clark has acquired Emerald House an 80,000 sq ft office building over 16 floors. The building is part tenanted and located on Lansdowne Road the main link road between the new East Croydon bridge and the Whitgift centre soon to be redeveloped by Westfield and Hammerson. Emerald House Is available for lettings between 2,000 sq ft and up to 55,000 sq ft.

Acting jointly on behalf of the Freshwater Group, Stuart Edwards Fullermoon and Sinclair Clark have let 15,000 sq ft to the Gym Group. The fit out is in hand and the gym will open towards the end of the year.
