  • Sutton – Quadrant House now fully let (60,000 sq ft)

    Acting on behalf of Reed Eslevier Sinclair Clark together with joint agents Centro Commercial have advised on the lease renewal and new lettings of 10 floors in the Sutton HQ.

    The space has been let as follows:

    2 floors have been taken by Newsquest and 6 floors have been renewed by Subsea 7 and they have also taken two additional floors taking their occupation in the building to 50,000 sq ftand taken under some new leases by Subsea 7.

  • Emerald House – Lease Renewals and Refurbishment

    Acting on behalf of CBRE Investors Sinclair Clark have agreed two lease renewals in the building to Clydesdale Bank and WSP.

    The landlords have embarked on a refurbishment programme of the building with a new interior designed business hub reception.

  • Land sale at Altira Park Herne Bay – 8 acres sold to Terrace Hill subject to planning

    Terrace Hill have purchased land at Altira Park on which they plan a major food store and petrol station. Sinclair Clark advised on the sale of the land and are retained by Terrace Hill to acquire a number of additional sites through Kent and the Home Counties.

  • East London Debate

    Vanessa Clark attended an East London Debate about delivery in the area with Peter Andrews Chief Executive of London Thames Gateway Corporation at the View, the marketing suite overlooking the Olympic venues on the 21st September, also attending were Harald Muller from Inter IKEA , Nicolas Guerrin of Bouygues, Kevin Murphy Excel CEO and London & Partners Board member, Peter Murray from New London Architecture, and Lend Lease.

  • Develop Croydon 2011

    Develop Croydon is an annual, private sector funded, one-day summit which took place for the first time on November 16th 2010 at the Croydon Park Hotel.

    The event featured the most senior public and private sector decision makers involved in Croydon’s development. Addresses, workshops, discussion groups and presentations enable them to network and engage, to discover and assess investment opportunities, and to help decide the future of London’s largest borough.

    Develop Croydon November 2011 – The date is booked for the next Develop Croydon conference and Boris Johnston. The London Mayor has already agreed to speak.

  • MIPIM 2011

    Sinclair Clark attended MIPIM 2011 and sponsored the Croydon. The attendance and stand were sponsored by the private sector and Sinclair Clark are delighted to have been a sponsor.

    View on MIPIM: MIPIM has reclaimed its status, following a number of years of over attendance, as an effective event for networking, connecting, organising meetings and winning new clients and projects. It has been a pleasure to attend over the last couple of years in particular as everyone’s focus has been on maximising business out of attending. The setting of the event as always is delightful and when the sun shines averyone is in a better mood to create to meet and talk. MIPIM is run by the enigmatic Peter Rhodes MD who is a splendid character and I am pleased to say a client.

    Sinclair Clark were promoting the fact that LaSalle Investment Management are the largest investor of science parks in the UK.

    Comments: LaSalle Investment Management has $54.1 billion of assets under management invested in private real estate; both separate accounts and commingled funds, and publicly listed real estate securities. LaSalle’s 764 employees are located in 27 offices across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

  • New West End acquisition on behalf og Reed MIDEM

    Acting on behalf of Reed Midem Sinclair Clark have acquired new West End offices for Reed Midem and their charismatic MD Peter Rhodes OBE oin the 3rd floor of Greytbrook House 28 Brook Street London W1. The new offices comprise 2,237 sq ft and they are located in the heart of the property sector in Mayfair. The team working under Peter handle MIPIM and MAPIC amongst other events handled by Reed Midem who are a wholly owned subsidiary of Reed Elsevier.
